- Operation
Operation is by means of a highly reliable single phase tubular motor complete with manual override facility.
- Security
Each door is fitted with an automatic locking system which ensures the garage door is securely fastened down when in the closed position and cannot be forced open. All doors are fitted with a double extruded heavy duty bottom rail for extra strength.
- Safety
Safety Photocell Beam: A safety photocell beam is provided to comply with current health and safety legislation regarding vertically moving doors. The door will automatically stop during operation if the beam is broken. The photocell is provided with a protective cover to prevent accidental damage.
Safety Brake: Securiguard garage doors are fitted with a safety brake (anti fall back device) in accordance with BS 12604:2000.
Power Cuts: Each door comes with an emergency manual override facility and a winding handle. This enables the door to be operated manually in the event of a power failure.
- Insulation
When it comes to insulating your garage from all the outside elements and external noise, the Securiguard door provides up to five times more insulation than standard steel doors. Properties with a room above the garage will benefit from the extra warmth this garage door creates.

- Design
The Securiguard door rolls up into a compact size which provides maximum drive through height, ideal for S.U.Vs or people carriers. The vertical operation allows you to park as close to the door as possible, creating extra space on your driveway. With a normal up and over garage door, side walls and overhead storage space are wasted. Securiguard can release all that extra valuable space.
- Colours
Standard colours available are White, Green, Brown, Light Oak, Mahogany, Black. Other colours are available on request. All guides and shutter boxes are in standard White.
